2. Aims & Scope

AMSR welcomes cutting-edge foundational and applied research. To balance broad scientific coverage with index-ready structure, submissions are managed under four dedicated academic tracks:

  • Life & Biomedical Sciences: Molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, biochemistry, microbiology, physiology, and pathology.
  • Veterinary, Agricultural & Animal Sciences: Comparative anatomy, animal biotechnology, infectious animal diseases, veterinary surgery, agronomy, and livestock production.
  • Chemical & Physical Sciences: Applied chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, environmental chemistry, and biophysics.
  • Interdisciplinary & Applied Technologies: Bioinformatics, artificial intelligence applications in science, environmental biotechnology, and diagnostic tools.

4. Peer Review Process & Workflow

AMSR adheres strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

  1. Initial Editorial Desk Check (Days 1–5):
    • Plagiarism screening (similarity index must be < 15%, with < 2% from a single source).
    • Scope alignment, ethical statement verification, and structural formatting review.
  2. Double-Blind Peer Review (Weeks 2–5):
    • Assignment to a Section Editor.
    • Handled by at least two independent expert reviewers whose identities remain hidden from the authors, and vice versa.
  3. Editorial Decision (Week 6):
    • Accept without changes
    • Minor Revisions (author allowed 14 days)
    • Major Revisions (author allowed 28 days + re-review)
    • Reject
  4. Production & Online First (Weeks 7–8):
    • Professional copyediting, DOI assignment via Crossref, XML/PDF typesetting, and proof clearance.

5. Author Guidelines & Manuscript Formatting

Manuscript Structure (IMRaD)

  • Title Page: Concise title, full author names, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, and corresponding author email.
  • Abstract & Keywords: Up to 250 words followed by 4–6 relevant keywords (MeSH/standard terms).
  • Introduction: Context, rationale, and specific hypothesis/objectives.
  • Materials and Methods: Detailed enough to ensure reproducibility; must include ethical approval codes for animal or human studies.
  • Results: Clear findings supported by high-resolution tables and figures (minimum 300 DPI for photos, 600 DPI for line art).
  • Discussion & Conclusions: Interpretation of findings without repeating data.
  • Declarations: Competing interests, funding acknowledgments, author contribution statement (CRediT taxonomy), and data availability statement.

Vancouver (numbered sequentially in square brackets, e.g., [1], [2–4]) or APA 7th edition.

6. Recommended Editorial Board Architecture
